by | business, marketing

Mailchimp makes it easy to create and launch marketing campaigns that help you hit your goals—whether you’re trying to grow your audience, sell more stuff, or build your brand.

It is free software that you can add to your website to help you collect email addresses and other info from your readers. In return, you can send your audience updates, newsletters, promotions, and other communications that relate to your website, your products or services, and your niche.

It’s a win-win for everyone. Readers stay connected to your site and you have access to a ready-made audience who can help spread the word about you and your business. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Mailchimp is easy to use

You can quickly create professional and engaging emails that look great, no matter which device they are viewed on.

• Drag and drop
Maichimp’s drag-and-drop email designer allows you to easily add content and design layouts that bring your brand to life.

• Manage your content
You can store all your images and files in Mailchimp’s content-manager, so you can always find what you need for your campaigns.

• Edit photos
There’s no need for extra design work. You can edit and resize images with Mailchimp’s built-in photo editor.

• Develop your marketing campaign
Once you have designed the perfect email, Mailchimp has lots of features that will help you develop a successful marketing campaign:

• Mailchimp does the work for you
By setting up email automations, Mailchimp works for you, even when you’re not working. It’s easy to set up a welcome series for new subscribers or a reminder email when people leave stuff behind in their online basket.

• Learn more about your customers
Wish you could know more about what’s working and what’s not? You can. It’s part of your Mailchimp account. Keep track of open rates, clicks, and segment data with our built-in analytics tool.

• Connect your online store
You can connect your online store to Mailchimp to send your customers emails with product recommendations based on stuff they loved and have bought before.

• Create and send emails from anywhere
With the Mailchimp mobile app, you can create and edit an email marketing campaign anytime, anywhere. Mailchimp’s templates look great on mobile, tablet, and desktop.

• Be yourself in every email
Whether you’re welcoming new subscribers or sending personalized product recommendations, you can do it in just a few clicks. Mailchimp’s ready-made email templates make it easy to make your business look good.

• Give your email life outside the inbox
Get more eyes on your emails by sharing them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Mailchimp makes it easy to craft posts for each of your social platforms right from the email builder. Simply add a photo and write your copy, and Mailchimp will share your post once you send your email.

• Send emails that get delivered
Mailchimp’s inbox acceptance rates are 96-99%. That’s above the industry standard. While you’re working to get the word out, Mailchimp is working to keep your campaigns out of the spam folder.

I love Mailchimp and I use it in my business to help capture those who come to my website and are interested in my designs and services. I have automations set up so I am in contact with new subscribers to introduce myself and offer a free download. These emails go out every few days without me having to do anything!

There are other email marketing providers out there (MailerLite, ActiveCampaign and Convertkit) but Mailchimp is a great place to start and it’s free up to 2,000 subscribers.

Work smarter in your business, not harder.
